Do you want to watch Jack Cafferty in the mornings, afternoon, or in primetime? Participate in our poll to let CNN know when would be the best time slot for Cafferty to have a weekday show. The Campaign to Give Cafferty a Show is Underway!
Welcome to the official campaign to give Jack Cafferty a show! We believe that cable news should have more journalists who report on important issues and hold politicians accountable. Jack Cafferty does an excellent job of analyzing current events and he does not consistently adhere to partisan talking points. Our goal is to convince CNN or another cable news network to give him his own weekday newscast. You can participate by signing the petition and telling others about the campaign. With your support, we can give Jack Cafferty a show and improve the quality of cable news.
Cafferty in negotiations with CNN?
The AP’s Lynne Elber recently wrote a profile on Jack Cafferty. In the article, Cafferty stated that he would love to have his own program. He did not say whether or not he was in talks with CNN to have a show and Sam Feist, senior executive producer of political programming, declined to comment. However, Feist did say that Cafferty was a “major factor” in why The Situation Room’s ratings have increased. (more....)
